Coupons allow you to create discount codes that customers can apply at checkout. You can configure percentage or fixed-amount discounts, set usage limits, schedule active periods, and restrict coupons to specific products.
Accessing Coupons
Navigate to Dashboard > Coupons from the sidebar. You will see the coupons management page with an overview of your discount codes.
Dashboard Overview
At the top of the page, four statistics cards give you a quick summary:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Coupons | The total number of coupon codes you have created |
| Active Coupons | Coupons currently within their valid date range and enabled |
| Total Redemptions | The cumulative number of times all coupons have been used |
| Expired | Coupons whose expiry date has passed |
Searching and Filtering
Use the filter bar to find specific coupons:
- Search -- Type a coupon code or description to search across your coupons.
- Status Filter -- Filter by All, Active, or Inactive to narrow results.
Results are paginated with 10 coupons per page.

Application Scope
You can choose which products the coupon applies to:
- All Products -- The coupon is valid for any product in the cart.
- Specific Products -- The coupon only applies to selected products. When this option is chosen:
- Use the product search field to find products.
- Check the boxes next to the products you want the coupon to apply to.
- Selected products appear as badges below the list.
- Optionally set a Minimum Quantity -- the minimum number of qualifying products that must be in the cart.
- Click Create Coupon (or Save Changes if editing) to save.
Editing a Coupon
- Find the coupon in the table.
- Click the Edit (pencil icon) button in the Actions column.
- The dialog opens pre-filled with the coupon's current settings.
- Modify the desired fields and click Save Changes.
Deleting a Coupon
- Find the coupon in the table.
- Click the Delete (trash icon) button in the Actions column.
- A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm to permanently delete the coupon.
Warning: Deleting a coupon is permanent and cannot be undone. If a coupon has already been used by customers, consider deactivating it instead by toggling the Active switch off.

Best Practices
- Set clear expiry dates to create urgency for customers.
- Use maximum discount caps with percentage coupons to protect margins on high-value orders.
- Limit per-customer usage to prevent abuse.
- Test coupon codes by placing a test order before promoting them.
- Use descriptive codes (e.g.,
SUMMER25,WELCOME10) that are easy for customers to remember.
