Dashboard Overview

Official guide · English · Version 9c253d0cf11816df

The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It provides an at-a-glance summary of your store's key metrics and offers quick access to the most common tasks. This page is accessible to all roles.

Page Layout

The Dashboard overview page is divided into two main sections:

  1. Header and Statistics Cards -- A greeting and four metric cards at the top.
  2. Quick Action Cards -- Three clickable cards below the stats that link to common tasks.

At the top of the page, you will see:

Element Description
Greeting A personalized welcome message that includes your store name (e.g., "Hello, My Store!").
Subtitle A brief description of the dashboard's purpose.

The greeting dynamically uses the store name from your account. If you change your store name in Settings, it will update here automatically on your next visit.

Statistics Cards

Below the header, four statistics cards are displayed in a responsive grid layout. On large screens, all four cards appear in a single row. On medium screens, they display in two columns. On small screens, they stack vertically.

Each card shows a metric title, an icon, a large numeric value, and a descriptive label.

Card 1: Products

Property Details
Title Products
Icon Package icon (top right of card)
Value The total number of products in your catalog
Description "Registered products"

This number represents your complete product count across all categories and stock statuses. It includes active, inactive, in-stock, and out-of-stock products.

Info: If this number shows 0, you have not added any products yet. Click the "Upload Products" quick action card below, or navigate to Products in the sidebar to start adding your catalog.

Card 2: Conversations

Property Details
Title Conversations
Icon Message bubble icon (top right of card)
Value The total number of customer conversations
Description "Active conversations"

This counts all conversation sessions across all channels (website widget, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.). Each unique customer interaction creates one conversation.

Card 3: Messages Used

Property Details
Title Messages Used
Icon Lightning bolt icon (top right of card)
Value A fraction showing messages used vs. your quota (e.g., "1,250 / 5,000")
Progress Bar A visual bar below the number showing usage percentage
Description Shows the percentage used (e.g., "25% of monthly quota used")

This card tracks your AI message usage for the current billing month against your plan's monthly quota.

Understanding the Progress Bar

Usage Level Bar Color Meaning
0-70% Blue Normal usage. You have plenty of messages remaining.
71-90% Blue Getting closer to your limit. Consider monitoring usage.
91-100% Blue (full) Nearing or at your limit. The bar fills to 100% maximum even if usage exceeds the quota.

Warning: When your message usage reaches 100% of your quota, the AI chatbot may stop responding to new customer messages until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade your plan. Monitor this card regularly to avoid service interruptions.

How Message Usage is Calculated

  • Each AI-generated response to a customer counts as one message.
  • Messages sent by human operators (when taking over a conversation) do not count against the AI quota.
  • The counter resets at the beginning of each billing month.

Card 4: Current Plan

Property Details
Title Current Plan
Icon Trending up icon (top right of card)
Value Your subscription plan name (e.g., "Starter", "Professional", "Enterprise")
Description Information about upgrading

This card displays the name of your current subscription plan. If no plan is set, it defaults to displaying "Starter".

Info: To upgrade your plan or view available plan options, navigate to the Account section in the sidebar or contact the platform support team.

Quick Action Cards

Below the statistics cards, three quick action cards provide one-click access to the most common tasks. Each card is clickable and navigates you to the relevant page.

  • You want to configure which products or information the chatbot has access to.

Loading States

While the dashboard fetches your data, each statistics card displays ... as a placeholder for the numeric values. This loading state typically lasts only a moment. If the data fails to load, the values may remain at 0 and an error will be logged to the browser console.

Data Refresh

The dashboard statistics are fetched when the page first loads. To refresh the data:

  1. Navigate away from the dashboard and then back.
  2. Refresh the page in your browser (F5 or Ctrl+R / Cmd+R).

The data is fetched in parallel from three API endpoints:

API Call Data Retrieved
Products API Total product count
Conversations API Total conversation count
Tenant Usage API Messages used this month and monthly message quota

Role-Based Access

The Dashboard overview page is available to all roles (Owner, Admin, Manager, Accountant, Operator, and Viewer). However, the quick action cards navigate to pages that may have different access levels:

Quick Action Accessible By
Upload Products Owner, Admin, Manager
View Conversations Owner, Admin, Manager, Operator, Viewer
AI Settings Owner, Admin, Manager

Info: If you click a quick action card and land on a page where you have limited or no access due to your role, the page will either show restricted content or display an appropriate message. The data-level access control is enforced by the API, not just the front-end navigation.

Tips for Using the Dashboard Effectively

  1. Check the Messages Used card daily -- This helps you anticipate when you might need to upgrade your plan or reduce chatbot activity.
  2. Use the Products card as a health check -- If the product count is unexpectedly low or zero, it might indicate an import issue or a data problem.
  3. Monitor conversations regularly -- The Conversations count helps you gauge customer engagement. A sudden spike might mean a marketing campaign is driving traffic, while a drop might indicate a technical issue with the chat widget.
  4. Use quick actions for your daily workflow -- The three quick action cards are designed for the tasks you will perform most frequently. You can also access these same pages from the sidebar.
  5. Look at the notification bell -- The notification bell in the top-right corner will alert you to important events (new orders, low stock, sync errors) that might not be reflected in the dashboard stats.

Differences from the Analytics Page

The Dashboard overview is designed as a quick summary. For deeper analysis, use the Analytics page (/dashboard/analytics), which provides:

  • Conversation trends over time (daily, weekly, monthly charts)
  • Message breakdown between user and assistant messages
  • Hourly activity patterns showing peak customer engagement times
  • Top products mentioned in conversations
  • Revenue and conversion rate tracking
  • Platform breakdown (which channels drive the most conversations)
  • Growth metrics comparing current and previous periods

Navigate to Analytics from the sidebar for these advanced reports.
