The Settings page is your central hub for configuring every aspect of your DirectSale account. From store branding to security, checkout configuration, notifications, data privacy, and backups -- everything is accessible from a single tabbed interface.

Accessing Settings

To open the Settings page:

  1. Log in to your dashboard.
  2. Click Settings in the top navigation bar (alongside Usage, Billing, Team, and Support).

You will land on the Settings page with the General tab selected by default.

Available Tabs

Use the available tabs below. Visibility depends on your role and enabled features; click a tab icon or label to switch sections.

Tab Icon Description
General Store Store name, business type, AI language, customer portal toggle, and account information
Appearance Palette Dashboard style and theme; separate from the customer-facing storefront design
Security Lock Password management, two-factor authentication (TOTP and email), login history, active sessions, and trusted devices
Notifications Bell Email notification preferences, weekly reports, quota alerts, new conversation alerts, and handoff notification channels (email and Telegram)
Integrations Link API key management, connected messaging platforms (Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram), and e-commerce platform connections
Checkout Shopping Cart Enable/disable checkout, choose between hosted checkout and external cart sync, configure payment gateways, and set up WooCommerce or custom API integrations
Data Privacy Shield Export your data, delete all conversations, and permanently delete your account
Backup & Restore Hard Drive Create full data backups, download backup archives, restore from a backup file, and view backup history

Info: On smaller screens, the tab labels are hidden and only the icons are displayed. You can still tap any icon to switch tabs.

How the Page Works

When the Settings page loads, it fetches your current tenant profile from the server. If the data fails to load, an error banner is displayed at the top of the page. Each tab independently manages its own data fetching and saving -- changes you make in one tab do not affect other tabs.
