Services & Appointments

DirectSale includes a full-featured service booking system that lets you offer bookable services alongside (or instead of) physical products. Whether you run a consulting firm, a salon, a tutoring business, or any appointment-based operation, the Services module has you covered.
What Are Services?
A service is a bookable offering that your customers can schedule. Each service has:
- A name and description displayed in your storefront
- A duration (in minutes) that determines how long each appointment lasts
- A price (with optional sale pricing and deposit requirements)
- A location type -- in-person, online, or both
- One or more providers (team members who deliver the service)
- A schedule that controls when the service is available for booking
Info: Services and products are separate modules. You can use one, the other, or both. Many businesses offer a combination -- for example, a hair salon might sell hair care products alongside styling services.
