The Data Privacy tab gives you control over your personal and business data. From here you can export all of your data, delete conversation history, or permanently delete your entire account. These tools help you comply with data protection regulations and manage your data lifecycle.

Overview

The Data Privacy card contains three actions, presented in order from least destructive (export) to most destructive (account deletion):

Action Risk Level Description
Export My Data None Downloads a JSON file containing all your account data.
Delete All Conversations Medium Permanently removes all chatbot conversations and message history.
Delete Account Critical Permanently deletes your entire account and all associated data.

Export My Data

The data export feature creates a complete JSON file of all your account data, making it easy to review what information the platform stores about you.

What Is Included in the Export

The export contains your full account data, including (but not limited to):

  • Account profile and settings
  • Products and categories
  • Conversations and messages
  • Orders and transactions
  • Team member information
  • Integration configurations

How to Export Your Data

  1. Navigate to Settings > Data Privacy.
  2. In the Export My Data section, click the Export Data button.
  3. The button will show a loading spinner while the export is being prepared.
  4. Once ready, a JSON file will be automatically downloaded to your browser's default download location.
  5. The file will be named data-export-YYYY-MM-DD.json, where the date reflects the day of the export.

Info: The export may take a few seconds depending on the amount of data in your account. The file is generated server-side and downloaded as a single JSON file.

Delete All Conversations

This action permanently removes all chatbot conversations and their messages from your account. This can be useful if you want to clear out historical data without deleting your entire account.

What Gets Deleted

  • All customer conversations
  • All messages within those conversations
  • Associated conversation metadata (timestamps, customer info, etc.)

What Is NOT Deleted

  • Products and categories
  • Orders and transactions
  • Account settings and integrations
  • Team members

How to Delete All Conversations

  1. Navigate to Settings > Data Privacy.
  2. In the Delete All Conversations section (highlighted with a yellow/amber border), click the Delete Conversations button.
  3. A browser confirmation dialog will appear asking you to confirm the action.
  4. Click OK to proceed or Cancel to abort.
  5. If confirmed, all conversations will be deleted and you will see a success message.

Warning: This action is irreversible. Once conversations are deleted, they cannot be recovered. Consider exporting your data first if you might need the conversation history later.

Delete Account

Account deletion permanently removes your entire account and all associated data from the platform. This is the most destructive action available and includes multiple safeguards to prevent accidental deletion.

What Gets Deleted

Everything associated with your account, including:

  • Account profile and credentials
  • All products, categories, and media
  • All conversations and messages
  • All orders and transactions
  • All team members and their access
  • All integrations and API keys
  • All settings and configurations
  • All backups stored on the platform

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Navigate to Settings > Data Privacy.
  2. In the Delete Account section (highlighted with a red border), click the Delete Account button.
  3. A confirmation panel will replace the button, displaying a text input field.
  4. Type the word DELETE (in capital letters, exactly as shown) into the text field.
  5. Click the Confirm Delete button. The button remains disabled until you type "DELETE" exactly.
  6. If successful, you will be logged out and redirected to the login page.

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no way to recover your data after deletion. Make sure you have exported any data you need before proceeding.

Safeguards

The account deletion process includes several layers of protection:

  1. Two-click process -- You must first click the initial "Delete Account" button, then confirm in a separate step.
  2. Text confirmation -- You must type "DELETE" exactly to unlock the confirm button.
  3. Disabled by default -- The final confirm button is disabled until the correct text is entered.

Info: If you want to keep your account but need assistance with data-related concerns, contact the support team instead of deleting your account. The support team can help with specific data requests without requiring full account deletion.
