General Settings
Official guide · English · Version 9c253d0cf11816df
The General tab is the first tab you see when you open the Settings page. It contains four cards that let you manage your store identity, AI chatbot language, customer portal access, and view your account details.
Store Information
The Store Information card displays and lets you edit your core store profile.
Fields
| Field | Editable | Description |
|---|---|---|
| No | The email address associated with your account. This is set during registration and cannot be changed from the dashboard. | |
| Store Name | Yes | The display name of your store. This appears in the dashboard header, the chat widget, your storefront, and other customer-facing surfaces. |
| Business Type | Yes | Your industry category. The AI chatbot uses this to tailor its product recommendations and conversation style. |
| Registration Date | No | The date your account was created (displayed below the form). |
Business Type Options
Choose the industry template that best matches your business:
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| General | Default for stores that do not fit a specific category |
| Clothing | Fashion, apparel, and accessories |
| Electronics | Consumer electronics, gadgets, and tech products |
| Auto Parts | Automotive parts and accessories |
| Beauty | Cosmetics, skincare, and personal care |
| Home Appliances | Kitchen and household appliances |
| Food | Food, beverages, and groceries |
Info: Changing the business type affects how the AI chatbot understands and categorizes your products. The system uses this to load an appropriate industry template that improves response quality and product attribute extraction.
How to Update Store Information
- Navigate to Settings and make sure the General tab is selected.
- In the Store Information card, update the Store Name text field.
- Select a Business Type from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Save Changes button.
- A green checkmark icon will appear briefly to confirm the changes were saved successfully.
Currency and regional defaults
The tenant currency controls regional payment and messaging setup independently of the panel display language.
- IRR / IRT: Persian AI/storefront language defaults and right-to-left layout; Iranian payment options, Bale, Eitaa and Rubika setup are shown where supported by your plan.
- USD / EUR / GBP: English business-language defaults and international payment options. Other currencies use their configured language preset; multi-language currencies default to English.
- Every actual currency-code change resets these business-language defaults, even IRR to IRT. Later manual language changes remain until the next currency change. Saving the same currency does not reset them.
- The dashboard display language, existing product/page content, catalog search language, prices, invoices and connected channels are not translated, converted or deleted.
- A confirmation explains that numeric amounts are not converted. Save other drafts first: the panel reloads after saving the currency. Review catalog and accounting prices before accepting new payments.
- The target AI language must be active on the platform. If it is unavailable, the currency save stops without partial changes.
Smart Help answers in the language you request or clearly use in your question, not necessarily the language of the panel.
AI Language
The AI Language card controls which language your AI chatbot uses when responding to customers.
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Current Language | Shows the currently active language, including its flag and native name. If no language is set, it displays "System Default." |
| Select Language | A dropdown listing all active languages available on the platform. Choose "System Default" to let the system decide automatically. |
How to Change the AI Language
- In the AI Language card, review your current language setting at the top.
- Open the Select Language dropdown.
- Choose the language you want the chatbot to use. Each option shows the language flag, its native name, and its English name.
- Click the Save Language button.
- A confirmation indicator will appear when the change has been applied.
Info: The AI language setting only affects the chatbot's response language. It does not change the dashboard interface language, which is controlled separately by your browser or dashboard locale preferences.
Customer Portal
The Customer Portal card provides a toggle to enable or disable the customer-facing login portal for your store.
What the Customer Portal Does
When enabled, customers can create accounts and log into a portal where they can:
- View their order history
- Track order status
- Manage their profile and shipping addresses
- Access their conversation history with the chatbot
How to Toggle the Customer Portal
- In the Customer Portal card, locate the toggle switch.
- Click the toggle to switch between enabled (blue) and disabled (gray).
- The change is saved automatically as soon as you toggle it -- no separate save button is needed.
Info: Disabling the customer portal does not delete existing customer accounts or data. It simply prevents customers from logging in until you re-enable it.
Account Information
The Account Information card provides a read-only summary of your account.
Displayed Information
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Subscription Plan | Your current plan tier (e.g., Free, Starter, Professional, Business). Displayed with a capitalized label. |
| Account ID | A shortened version of your unique tenant identifier (first 8 characters). |
Request Account Deletion
At the bottom of the Account Information card, there is a Request Account Deletion button. Clicking it opens your default email client with a pre-filled message addressed to the support team, including your account ID. The support team will process the deletion request manually.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All your data, including products, conversations, orders, and settings, will be removed. For a self-service deletion option, see the Data Privacy tab.
