Notification Center and Delivery Recipients
Official guide · English · Version 9c253d0cf11816df
Use Notifications to read platform events. Use Notifications > Settings to choose where operational alerts are delivered. Reading a notification is not taking the related order, invoice or conversation action.
Read and manage notifications
- Open the notification list or bell.
- Apply the offered filters and inspect the event, time and related record.
- Mark an item read after reviewing it, or use Mark all read when appropriate.
- Open the relevant order/conversation/record to perform its actual workflow.
Configure recipients
- Open Notifications Settings.
- Review the enabled delivery channels and recipient list.
- Add or edit recipient labels and the channel-specific address or chat identifier.
- Enable only the event types needed by that recipient/team.
- Save and use the recipient's Test action.
- Confirm the test arrives at the intended destination, then check one real authorized event.
Tests send an actual message and can save current recipient configuration. Do not test with an unrelated customer's email or chat ID. Bale notification options depend on the tenant's currency region.
Event types
Events include orders, low/out-of-stock, sync/webhook errors, approval needed, payment received, human handoff, reviews, shipping and appointments where supported. Sales events include product interest, no-result search, added-to-cart, abandoned cart, checkout started, contact request and checkout failure.
A checkout-started alert is not a payment-received alert. Product interest is not a completed sale. Select events carefully to avoid overwhelming the operational team.
Verification and troubleshooting
No delivery: confirm the recipient is saved/enabled, correct address/chat, selected event type and delivery-provider configuration. In-panel notification present but external alert missing means these separate delivery paths need comparison. Marking all read does not cancel deliveries already sent.
If an alert contains a record reference, compare it with the original record and timestamp before acting. Review privacy before sharing customer details with additional recipients. See Human Handoff and Support.
