Social media accounts and sharing

Manage your website's public social links at Storefront > SEO & Settings > Social media. Owners, administrators and managers can use this page when website access is available.
Add your accounts
- Select Add account and choose a network.
- Enter the profile URL or a supported username. For WhatsApp, enter the number with its country code or a public WhatsApp link. For Mastodon and Custom link, enter the full HTTPS address.
- Optionally enter a display label. A custom link requires a label.
- Keep Visible enabled for accounts you want visitors to see. Use the arrows to change their order, or remove an account. Choose the locations for each account: for example, include only two networks in the header and the full list in the footer. Page blocks controls whether an account appears in linked content blocks.
- Mark This is an official public profile of my business only for pages that identify your business. Contact or invitation links are not business identity profiles.
- Select Save changes. The preview shows valid enabled links; clicking the preview does not navigate away.
You can save up to 20 accounts. Supported networks include Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Telegram, WhatsApp, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Discord, Snapchat, GitHub, Aparat, Bale, Eitaa and Rubika. Use Custom link for other public destinations. You do not need to connect an account or provide its password to display a public link.
Existing Instagram, Telegram and WhatsApp website links appear automatically. Saving an empty account list removes the displayed links; old links do not reappear.
Choose where links appear
Use Header top bar, Footer and Mobile menu to control the shared locations. Enabling the header location also makes the social top bar available when the announcement bar is disabled. Choose Icons or Icons and names for the appearance.
These settings apply across all website templates. Header and footer builders link back to this page and preview your saved accounts. Their reset controls do not reset the central social settings.
Choose icon styles and motion
Under Icon style and motion, select Header top bar, Footer, Mobile menu or Page blocks. Each location keeps its own design.
Choose one of six styles: Minimal, Brand colors, Glass, Soft depth, Light halo or Named capsule. Capsule always includes account names. Select Compact, Standard or Large. Under Icon motion, choose Off, On interaction or Gentle attention. Save your changes to apply the design.
The style cards show example accounts. The location preview below them shows your enabled accounts assigned to that location; its dark background switch affects only the preview. If the preview is empty, check that the location and at least one assigned account are enabled.
Existing settings start with still Minimal icons. On interaction animates when a visitor hovers, focuses or touches a link. Gentle attention starts after an icon has been visible for 3 seconds, accents one visible icon at a time for about 0.7 seconds, and then rests for 9 seconds. Minimal and Soft depth move up by 2 pixels; Brand colors, Glass and Named capsule show a passing gleam; Light halo shows a fading ring.
Gentle attention stops when icons leave the viewport or the browser tab is hidden. All motion respects the visitor's reduced-motion setting. The icons have fixed dimensions and do not use external icon downloads or an animation library.
Place a linked block on a page
Open the visual editor for the homepage, a custom page, or a product description. Drag Social profiles from the block list to the desired location. Select the block to choose its appearance and alignment.
New blocks use the website's Page blocks design. You can select a different icon style, size or motion for one block, or choose Use website setting to follow the shared design again.
The block uses the current saved accounts. When you update an account, all linked blocks follow the change. An empty or disabled account list displays no social block to visitors. Save the page or product editor; for homepage drafts, use the existing Publish action to make the layout live.
Enable product and article sharing
Under Share your content, enable product pages and/or blog articles, then save. Visitors can copy a clean public page link. Supported browsers also show the device's native sharing control. If copying is unavailable, a selectable link is shown for manual copying.
Sharing does not require any account links. Private previews do not expose share controls. The visitor chooses the destination and completes the share themselves.
Save, visibility and recovery
Saving account settings refreshes the website configuration and queues configuration synchronization for a connected self-hosted storefront. It does not publish an unpublished website; domain verification and publication requirements still apply.
If loading fails, select Retry before editing. If saving fails, your edits remain in the form. If a message says the settings were saved but the website could not be refreshed, save again to retry the refresh. For a self-hosted site that has not updated yet, check its synchronization status.
Official enabled identity profiles can appear in the store's structured data. WhatsApp contact links and Discord invitations are excluded. Account links and sharing controls support discoverability, but do not guarantee a search ranking or SEO checker score.
