Multichannel Sales

Official guide · English · Version 9c253d0cf11816df

Multichannel Sales lets you list and sell your products across multiple e-commerce platforms -- WooCommerce, Shopify, PrestaShop, OpenCart, Amazon, and eBay -- all managed from a single dashboard. Stock levels, prices, and product data stay synchronized across every connected platform.

Accessing Multichannel

Navigate to Dashboard > Multichannel from the sidebar.

The Multichannel navigation includes:

Tab Description
Overview Dashboard with summary stats, platform breakdown, quick actions, and recent sync activity.
Listings Manage all product listings across connected platforms.
Sync Logs View the history of all synchronization operations.
Stock History Track stock level changes over time.
Linked Stores Link authorized DirectSale tenants as a hub and satellites; configure what is synchronized.

Overview Dashboard

The Overview page is your command center for multichannel operations.

Summary Cards

Five cards at the top provide a snapshot of your multichannel status:

Card Description
Total Listings The total number of product listings across all connected platforms.
Active Listings that are currently active and selling.
Synced Listings that are successfully synchronized with their external platforms.
Errors Listings that have encountered synchronization errors and need attention.
Pending Listings that are waiting to be synced for the first time.

Connected Platforms

Below the summary cards, each connected platform is displayed as a card showing:

  • Platform badge -- Color-coded identifier (e.g., purple for WooCommerce, green for Shopify).
  • Connection name -- The name you gave this connection.
  • Listings count -- Total products listed on this platform.
  • Synced count -- Number of successfully synced listings.
  • Error count -- Number of listings with sync errors.

Per-Platform Actions

Each platform card offers quick action buttons:

Action Description
Sync (refresh icon) Triggers a full sync for this connection -- updates stock, prices, and pulls orders.
Listings Navigates to the Listings page filtered to this specific connection.
Push Stock Pushes current stock quantities from your catalog to this platform for all listings.
Push Prices Pushes current prices from your catalog to this platform for all listings.
Register Webhooks Registers webhooks with the external platform so it can notify your system of changes (e.g., new orders, stock updates).

Info: Registering webhooks is important for real-time updates. Without webhooks, changes on the external platform (such as new orders or stock changes) will only be detected during manual or scheduled syncs.

Quick Actions

A grid of shortcut cards provides fast access to common tasks:

Quick Action Description
Manage Listings Opens the Listings management page.
Sync Logs Opens the sync log history.
Stock History Opens the stock change history.

Getting Started

For connections between DirectSale tenants, follow Linked Stores. This is separate from external commerce connections and does not provide a single login for every tenant's settings or inbox. For the separate marketplace workspace, see Marketplace.

For a rial or toman storefront, Selling Through Torob explains the separate readiness, merchant registration, product API and channel-price workflow. Torob does not use the ordinary platform connection form.

To begin selling on multiple platforms:

  1. Connect a platform -- Go to Dashboard > Connections and add a new platform connection with your store credentials.
  2. Test the connection -- Click the Test button on the connection card to verify connectivity.
  3. Add product listings -- Go to Dashboard > Multichannel > Add Products to select products from your catalog and push them to the connected platform.
  4. Configure pricing -- Set pricing rules (manual, markup, or margin-based) for each platform.
  5. Register webhooks -- Use the webhook button on the platform card to enable real-time order and stock notifications.
  6. Monitor sync status -- Use the Overview dashboard and Sync Logs to track synchronization health.

Warning: Before pushing products to a platform, make sure the connection is healthy (green check icon). Attempting to sync with an unhealthy connection will result in errors.

Best Practices

  • Test connections regularly to catch authentication issues early (e.g., expired tokens).
  • Register webhooks on all platforms to receive real-time updates for orders and stock changes.
  • Use safety stock to prevent overselling -- this reserves a buffer of stock that is not synced to external platforms.
  • Review error listings promptly -- listings with errors are not being kept in sync and may show outdated information to customers.
  • Push stock after inventory changes if webhooks are not configured, to keep external platforms up to date.
  • Use pricing rules instead of manual prices for automated price management across platforms.
