Reconcile a Marketplace Catalog
Official guide · English · Version 9c253d0cf11816df
Use the reconciliation page from Dashboard > Connections when products in a connected marketplace and products in DirectSale need to be matched, imported or published. Reconciliation is a reviewed write operation; loading its preview does not change either catalog.
Review the preview
Select the intended connection and open its reconciliation action. The page groups records into marketplace-only products, matched products and panel-only products. Automatic suggestions can use SKU or name, but you must review every proposed match.
Do not match two different variants merely because their names are similar. Compare SKU, variant attributes, identifiers, price and the actual marketplace listing before confirming.
Choose the catalog policy
The selected policy controls which side is allowed to create or update records. Available operations depend on the marketplace:
- Map an external product to an existing DirectSale product
- Import an eligible external product into DirectSale
- Publish an eligible panel-only product where the provider supports publication
- Apply the selected field synchronization policy to mapped products
An unavailable checkbox means that operation or required product data is not supported. For example, publication from this screen can be provider-specific. Do not interpret an absent external record as proof that a live listing was removed; some provider APIs return only part of a catalog.
Confirm safely
- Resolve duplicate or incorrect mappings.
- Select only the imports or publications you intend to create.
- Review the acknowledgment describing the source of truth and field changes.
- Complete any marketplace-specific catalog acknowledgment shown on the page.
- Select Confirm once and wait for the result.
After confirmation, reload the connection and verify representative products on both sides. Check SKU, variants, listing status, stock and price. Use Sync Logs and Stock History to investigate failures and Marketplace Products and Orders for routine operations.
