Selling Through Torob
Official guide · English · Version 9c253d0cf11816df
Torob can discover eligible products on your published storefront after you register your shop with Torob. Customers who follow a Torob listing complete their purchase on your own storefront. The DirectSale Torob page helps you prepare and check your store; a green readiness check or an enabled API does not mean Torob has reviewed or connected your shop.
Find the Torob page
Open Dashboard > Connections > Torob. This option appears under Sales Channels only when your store currency is IRR (rial) or IRT (toman). The older Storefront > Torob address redirects to this page. If the option is missing, check the store currency in your tenant settings; changing the panel display language does not enable Torob.
Torob is separate from the New Connection form used for other commerce platforms. You do not import a Torob catalog into DirectSale here. Maintain products in DirectSale and publish a working storefront before requesting Torob's review.
Check storefront readiness
Select Check again on the Torob page after changing products, domain or publication settings. Review the displayed checks:
- Store domain: the domain must be verified and the storefront published. Open Domain settings to resolve this first.
- Products: review active products, products with an effective positive price, and products that are priced and available for sale. Confirm stock and prices on the public product page and in checkout.
- Images: the page checks a sample of up to 50 recently available products for missing image references. A clean sample does not prove every product image is reachable or meets Torob's requirements.
- Currency: verify the store's selling currency. Separately choose whether the stored price numbers represent rial or toman before enabling the product API.
Prepare any merchant verification required by Torob, including Enamad where applicable. DirectSale does not verify Enamad or Torob approval on this page.
Register the shop and enable the product API
- Publish the storefront on its verified domain and review several public product pages, prices, stock values and checkout.
- Use Register with Torob on the Torob page and complete Torob's own merchant registration and review. Saving settings in DirectSale does not register or approve the shop in Torob.
- In Torob Product API v3, select the unit of stored price numbers: Rial or Toman. The API returns prices to Torob in whole toman. Check this choice against real product prices before saving.
- When the storefront and checkout are ready, select Enable Torob product API and Save settings. Copy the displayed API URL and give it to Torob support when direct API integration has been agreed. Treat Torob's confirmation, not the DirectSale switch, as the connection status.
Automatic product-update webhooks are not active in this workflow. Torob registration, approval and any token it issues remain separate from the DirectSale readiness checks. Do not post API credentials in product descriptions or Help requests.
Set Torob prices
The Price change for Torob visitors (%) setting applies store-wide. Enter a whole number from -99 to 1000: a positive value raises the price and a negative value lowers it. Zero leaves the effective catalog price unchanged. Review the resulting amount before saving, especially when a product has a sale price, variant or sale unit.
Once the Torob API is enabled, open Dashboard > Products and use a product's Product marketplaces control to include or exclude it from Torob. Each included product inherits the store-wide percentage unless you save its own percentage; Use store-wide Torob adjustment removes that override. Only active destinations appear in this control. Excluding a product prevents it from being returned by the Torob product API.
The adjustment applies to Torob listing links and items added to the cart through those links. Ordinary storefront visits use the normal catalog price. The product page, cart and checkout recalculate the Torob price; a changed adjustment or excluded product can require the customer to refresh the cart. A Torob link can be shared, so this is a public channel price rather than a private coupon.
Verify and troubleshoot
After saving, reopen the Torob page and confirm the selected price unit, API setting and percentage. Compare a small sample of product prices and stock across the public page, Torob-linked page, cart and checkout. Ask Torob to confirm that it has accepted the shop and the API URL; the DirectSale page cannot show external approval.
If Torob is not visible, check that the store currency is IRR or IRT. If saving fails, check publication, domain, checkout and the chosen stored-price unit. If a product is missing, check its active status, price, stock, image and Show product switch. If the page reports that self-hosted storefront sync is pending, resolve that sync before relying on the public listing. Avoid changing the rial/toman interpretation just to make a failed check pass: that can make every exported price incorrect.
For the current direct API format and image guidance, see Torob's integration documentation. Torob's merchant review and support remain the authority on whether your shop is connected.
