Accounting Audit Log
Official guide · English · Version 9c253d0cf11816df
Open Accounting > Audit Log to investigate recorded accounting changes. It is a read-only history view, not an undo button.
Find an event
- Select the relevant entity type, such as an invoice or transaction.
- Filter the action and start/end dates.
- Inspect the actor, entity reference and event time.
- Open the changes dialog to inspect available before/after details.
- Follow the source document in its normal accounting screen to understand its current state.
- Clear filters if the expected event is not visible and check additional pages.
Use the record correctly
Compare the same document ID, not just a similar invoice number or amount. A historical event does not prove the document is still in that state; later events may supersede it. Corrections must use the permitted void, reversal, edit or approval workflow for the source document.
Verification and troubleshooting
If a record appears missing, check tenant, date range, entity/action filters, pagination and your role. Some operational events may be in order notifications, sync logs or stock history rather than the accounting audit log. Provide Support with the entity reference and approximate time, not a dump of unrelated customer data.
See Discrepancy Checks for consistency investigation and Approvals for approval history.
