Accounting Sales Channels

Use Accounting > Sales Channels to label sales sources and inspect their revenue. Creating an accounting channel does not connect a messaging bot, marketplace API or another tenant.

Set up a channel

  1. Open Sales Channels and select Add Channel.
  2. Enter a clear name, such as your website or marketplace.
  3. Choose Website, Marketplace, Social or Manual.
  4. Enter the optional platform label.
  5. Save and verify the active channel in the list.
  6. Use Edit for corrections or Deactivate when the channel should no longer be used.

Review revenue

Choose From and To dates in the Channel Revenue Report. Compare revenue, fees, net revenue and invoice count by channel. A channel with no attributed invoices may have no reported revenue; adding its name does not backfill all historical sales.

Verify and troubleshoot

If revenue is missing, inspect invoice source/channel attribution and reporting period before creating a duplicate channel. If net revenue differs from gross sales, inspect reported fees and the underlying invoices. A deactivated accounting label does not automatically disconnect an external store.

See Connections, Messaging Channels and Linked Stores for the actual connection workflows.
