Accounting Discrepancy Checks
Official guide · English · Version 9c253d0cf11816df
Use Accounting > Discrepancies to inspect detected consistency issues. Findings can include source-document, posting or inventory inconsistencies; a finding is not automatically proof of fraud.
Run and inspect
- Open the page and wait for the report.
- Inspect summary totals and filter by severity: Critical, High, Medium or Low.
- Search for the source document or finding type.
- Read the evidence and source references for an individual finding.
- Compare the actual invoice, journal, payment or inventory record before deciding how to correct it.
Resolve eligible findings
Use an individual Resolve action only when the finding is marked eligible for automatic correction and the consequence is understood. The bulk resolution action applies supported automatic repairs; it does not make every finding safe to fix or resolve every issue.
After resolution, reload the report and inspect the original source record and audit history. Some issues require manual correction through their normal workflow or Support. Do not repeat a bulk repair immediately after a timeout.
Verification and troubleshooting
A nonzero report after repair may contain remaining unsupported findings, newly detected items or a failed repair. Compare the exact source references and error, not just the count. If the report cannot load, check account/module access and service availability; an unavailable report is not a clean audit result.
See Audit Log, Inventory and Journal Entries.
