Accounting Exchange Rates

Official guide · English · Version 9c253d0cf11816df

Use Accounting > Exchange Rates to maintain dated conversion rates and inspect conversions. This screen does not automatically reprice the product catalog or select subscription-plan prices.

Set a rate

  1. Select Set rate.
  2. Choose base currency and target currency.
  3. Enter the intended conversion rate and effective date.
  4. Save and inspect the currency pair/date in the list.
  5. Use base/target filters to find the saved rate.

Confirm the direction before saving: a base-to-target rate is not its inverse. Use a rate source and accounting policy appropriate for your business; the form does not prove the entered rate is a live market quote.

Test a conversion

Enter amount, From currency and To currency in the conversion tool, then run Convert. If you swap currencies, review the new direction and run it again. Compare a simple known amount to ensure the interpretation is correct.

Verification and troubleshooting

Missing rate: check pair and date. Unexpected amount: verify decimal precision and direction. Do not repeatedly overwrite rates to make a historic report match without understanding the accounting policy.

Changing the tenant currency is a separate regional-default action and does not convert existing numeric prices. Subscription plans use explicitly configured prices per currency. See General Settings and Billing.
